Yiannis Kakavas
Yiannis Kakavas is a security researcher for the InfoSec Institute, a Greek information security enthusiast, and a graduate student in Information and Communication Systems Security M.Sc. in the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) , Sweden.
Kakavas holds a Dipl. Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens and is currently conducting his M.Sc. thesis in the area of Critical Information Security in Technishe Universitat Darmstadt.
He is interested in a wide variety of sub-areas in Information Security , primarily in web application security, penetration testing, privacy issues in social networking platforms and Critical Infrastructure Protection.
