JNCIA-Junos Practice Exam

Assessment - 65 questions

Junos OS Fundamentals

Course - 00:30:00

Take a dive into the architecture of Juniper devices. In this course, you'll learn about the modular software approach and their functions. We'll be looking at the separation of duties of the control plane (routing engine) and data plane (packet forwarding engine) and take a closer look at how Juniper devices process traffic (transit traffic and exception traffic).
User Interfaces

Course - 01:43:00

Learn all the ins and outs of the Juniper Junos OS configuration format and how to interact with the device like a pro. We’ll be covering the built-in help system and CLI modes (operational, BSD shell, configuration) and configuration concepts (active and candidate and operations on them) used throughout the Junos OS. We'll top it off with the J-Web GUI interface overview.
Configuration Basics

Course - 01:57:00

Get your device into production with this course on configuring Juniper devices. You'll learn authentication configuration, including role-based access control and external authentication via RADIUS and TACACS+. We'll also be covering naming schemes for Juniper device interfaces and advanced configuration functions like saving and archiving configuration.
Operational Monitoring and Maintenance

Course - 01:21:00

Now that your Juniper device is out in production, learn how to operate, maintain and troubleshoot it in this course. Covering hardware and software information gathering for efficient investigation, troubleshooting tasks and common information and finally, maintaining your device to keep it running for the long haul.
Routing Fundamentals

Course - 01:51:00

In this course, we'll be covering the basics of how routers talk to each other to dynamically route traffic across networks. In addition, we'll be taking a look at how Juniper devices handle traffic routing and forwarding and how those decisions are made. Finally, we'll explore how to separate routing information with tables and instances.
Routing Policy and Firewall Filters

Course - 01:20:00

Now that we've established dynamic routing, let's take a look at how you can influence routes and tweak forwarding to tailor to your specific needs. In this course, we'll be covering Juniper routing policies for influencing the export and import of routing information and firewall policies for logging, forwarding, discarding and rejecting traffic of your choice.
Network Fundamentals

Course - 02:42:00
